The practical skills in these modules also support a wide range of communication needs, including neurodiversity, helping people communicate more clearly and enabling others to participate fully.
Pre-Designed Modules
Hearing Loss: Why It Matters At Work
The course is 90 minutes long and can be offered face-to-face or online.
The course will provide you with:
- Awareness and insights into hearing loss
- An understanding of how it impacts colleagues at work
- Why hearing loss inclusion makes commercial sense
- Skills you can put to immediate use to be inclusive
Inclusive Facilitation For Hearing Loss
The course is a half day and can be delivered face-to-face or online.
This course is created specifically for professional trainers, facilitators, chairs and workshop leads.
The course includes:
- Hearing loss awareness
- Understanding the core challenges for people with hearing loss in a face-to-face or online setting
- Techniques on how to be inclusive of people with different communication needs
- An opportunity to reflect on your own courses to improve inclusion of people with different communication needs
Make Sense of Meetings with Effective Communication
The course is a half day and can be offered face-to-face or online.
The course will provide you with:
- Awareness and insights into hearing loss
- An understanding of how it impacts colleagues in face-2-face and online meetings
- Skills you can put to immediate use to be more inclusive and effective in meetings
Inclusive Communication: A Spotlight on Hearing Loss
The course is 90 minutes long and can be offered face-to-face or online.
By the end of this course you will:
- Understand the core challenges for people with hearing loss
- Notice environments which may be difficult for your friends and family with hearing loss
- Know key techniques to readily support your friends and family with hearing loss in various environments
